Homicide police seeking witnesses to deadly fight at a Surrey mall

Murder police are in search of witnesses to a struggle at a Surrey mall that left one man fatally injured.

The Built-in Murder Investigation Staff stated two males had been concerned in an altercation outdoors Tim Hortons within the rotunda of Surrey Central Metropolis mall round 8:30 a.m. on June 7.

One of many males, Andrew Doucette, was taken to hospital, the place his situation deteriorated. He later died from accidents sustained within the struggle, stated police.

In accordance with his obituary, Doucette, 61, died on June 15 at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

The Built-in Murder Investigation Staff took over the investigation on June 21.

Investigators try to find out the circumstances surrounding the altercation and launched footage from a surveillance digital camera from the mall.
